Engaging young people in science and engineering is important to British Antarctic Survey (BAS).  Our award-winning educational resources for teachers and students are curriculum-relevant and developed in partnership with the Royal Geographical Society and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Polar Regions Department. Take a look at www.discoveringantarctica.org.uk and www.discoverthearctic.org.uk
We are excited that a new STEM Learning Polar Explorer Programme is recruiting a team of ambassadors to help bring polar science into the classroom, to coincide with a new polar ship for Britain the RRS Sir David Attenborough. An event at BAS on Wednesday 1 November gives you an opportunity to find out more.
