Philips Avent invite you to explore the opportunity of undertaking an engineering apprenticeship at our world-class manufacturing site. We produce baby products which are sold in over 120 countries world-wide. We use a range of advanced manufacturing technologies to automate the production of the 70 million parts we produce each year in order to create the high quality products we are known for
On Wednesday 6th June, from 5.30pm to 8pm, we will be hosting an open evening at our site in Glemsford, Suffolk to showcase our engineering apprenticeship opportunities, which are key to supporting the continued growth of our business. Anyone can undertake an apprenticeship – there are no limits on age and these are open to existing employees as well as applicants from outside our business.
We are pleased to confirm we have 4 engineering apprenticeships available for the year 2018:
2 x Process Technician apprenticeships
2 x Mould Tool Service Engineer apprenticeships
This open evening will give you the opportunity meet existing and previous apprentices and learn more about their journeys at Philips. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about our apprenticeships and working at Philips. We will also provide an overview of content you will study with the training provider and the qualifications you will receive.
You can enjoy a tour of our site, and have demonstrations of equipment you could be working with on a daily basis.
There are limited spaces on this event, so please request a place by Friday the 1st of June at the latest. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and you are welcome to bring a ‘plus 1’ to this event.
To request your space on this event, or register your interest in our apprenticeship vacancies please email Katherine.Gibbins@philips.com (Campus Recruiter, Philips)
