Suffolk Wildlife Trust - ‘Design for living, exploring animal adaptation in a changing world’

Venue :

Suffolk Wildlife Trust has developed an exciting new Science week programme KS2 children. The point scoring ‘Adaptation Trail’ explores how an animal’s adaptations can affect its chances of survival. Children become species experts and find out how British Animals are adapted to their environment. They then consider how changes in the environment pose challenges to animals here in Suffolk.

With a full day out to our participating centres at Foxburrow Farm, Woodbridge or Bradfield Woods, South Suffolk there is plenty of time for hands on games and first hand discovery. Ipswich Schools can take part through ‘Closer to Nature’, in their local parks. For those schools unable to visit us, we can bring the core activities to your school grounds.
