Connect Education and Business in Ipswich is the go-to organisation for employers in Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire to find information, support, training and to engage in work-related learning opportunities or career-planning educational activities with our service users.
Through Connect Education and Business you can engage with students, schools and educators, young adults leaving care, child and career break returners, ex-offenders resettling and people who have recovered from an addiction.
We are leaders in the East of England for career planning and work-related educational opportunities for all. Currently we work with 5000+ employers, 800+ schools and FE colleges and have 2000+ Ambassadors. Do get in touch if you’d like more information about any of our services or opportunities.
Employers across all industries can get involved and there is no size limit, so freelancers and sole trades are as welcome as major corporations with a large workforce. There is no maximum or minimal time input for your involvement either. There is complete flexibility and employer opportunities are led by your own interests and availability.
Connect Education and Business has on its database one of the largest banks of engaged, trained and qualified employers in the East of England. This ready pool of expertise is deployed regularly at special events across the region and in projects with our primary service users in schools. Employers can also gain valuable media coverage and positive PR for their work.
In October 2016 Connect Education and Business was announced as the lead organisation for the STEM Ambassador Hub covering Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. This is a network of employers, teachers, leaders of special interest groups and STEM Ambassadors who collectively want to inspire the next generation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) professionals.
